About Trainer Carissa Frost-Schneider:

Carissa began her early training in dressage and hunter/jumpers and later 3 phase eventing at the age of 10. As a member of the  USDF and the USCTA (now USEF), Carissa showed successfully throughout the region earning many firsts and almost always placing in the top 3 in both dressage and eventing. Eager to continue to better herself, Carissa became a working student and trained under noteable riders and trainers in dressage and jumping. Some of the trainers she has learned and been influenced from include Janet Gillespy, Frank Daigle, Susan Woods, Jean Thornton and many others. She continued training her own as well as other unbroke or "project" horses, succeeding in making them pleasureable mounts and child-safe for younger students.
    After earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Florida, Carissa continued to work with children through adults as head trainer at Millenium Stables in Florida. 
    Carissa has been blessed with a gift for dealing with "problem" horses and ponies. From green-breaking to re-training, her gentle but firm methods have brought wonderful results to horses and their owners.

Carissa has recently relocated to Hagerstown, MD and is available to train in the surrounding areas.
